DAY CARE - A Special Business To Handle With Care
DERIVED FROM THE SOCIAL JOURNALS
In the modern world, working women demands daycare service to look after their children. This is most demanding, one and only business which is based on emotions.
For the house-wives who are seeking income out of their valued time, this business is a key to get attached with emotional state of life. You are guaranteed in the list of self employed women, where emotions, love and care is valued. Money is just a necessity. But feelings are incomparable to money. For the women those love to be with children all the time must start daycare business. Sidney Becker, one of the most recognized daycare manager in Manhattan, when interviewed in a lifestyle channel, she said,'It is one of the most amazing business in the world. Earning money by being your own boss is the best thing you can afford.'
Family day-cares can be operated by a single individual out of their home. Or a single woman can run this business from her home. The rules and formalities to start this business differs nation wise. In some countries day-care is liable to tax and registration. In some countries it is not, unless for an organization who involves faculties to look after children.
There are also many family childcare providers who have chosen this field as a profession. Local legislation will regulate the number and ages of children allowed per family child care home. Some localities have very stringent quality standards that require licensing for family child care homes while others require little or no regulations for childcare in individuals' homes.
In few countries license is required for a day-care business. Government made it compulsory because of reports like child abuse. Parents may also turn to independent rating services, or rely on recommendations and referrals. Most countries have laws relating to childcare, which seek to prevent and punish child abuse. Such laws may add cost and complexity to childcare provision and may provide tools to help ensure quality childcare.
Independent studies suggest that good daycare for non-infants is not harmful. In some cases, good daycare can provide different experiences than parental care does, especially when children reach two and are ready to interact with other children. Bad daycare puts the child at physical, emotional and attachment risk.
Higher quality care was associated with better outcomes. Children in higher quality childcare had somewhat better language and cognitive development during the first 4½ years of life than those in lower quality care. They were also somewhat more cooperative than those who experienced lower quality care during the first 3 years of life.
It is quite important to make your day-care a quality day-care, rather just to have an idea of money making. What parents expect from day-care faculties is to get equivalent or better guardian for their child in all prospects to help him/her grow healthier and mentally relaxed.
