THE REAL HAPPINESS

From My Diary:
THE ` REAL HAPPINESS` AND AWARD` I RECEIVED ON 7TH DECEMBER AT HOWRAH STATION
After attending the A.I.F.A.C.S. Award function in Delhi, I was returning by Poorva express. The train reaches around 2 O`clock night at Howrah. Due to the fog, train reached almost 8 hours late. At Howrah station, I was rushing to "AC waiting room" on the first floor of the old platform. While going towards the waiting room, I was carrying three paintings in my hands. One bag to the shoulder, and one in another hand. There were over 30 steps to climb to reach the first floor. I had no choice, but to use stairs as lift wasn't working. The moment I was facing the steps, I saw the old lady and her old husband, right on top of the steps, struggling to come down with their heavy luggage. There were many young guys around, staring at them, but none of them were willing to help. I was surprised to see those irresponsible guys. I placed all my belongings aside and ran towards the old couple and brought their luggage on the ground floor and waited for them. From the top, where they were standing, they stared at me and smiled. After stepping down slowly on ground floor, they smiled and thanked me. I noticed their eyes shining! Almost filled with tears.
Just then, I smiled and said, ‘You are welcome sir.’
I moved towards my luggage and lifted it. I begin to climb the steps and I turned to see them whether they left towards the train or not. Still they were smiling, looking at me again and again while pulling the trolley bags. I felt very happy and realized the joy of that moment. The `REAL HAPPINESS’ to help others and the true award that I received on 7th December at Howrah station.
Thanks to God, for offering me a chance to help them.
