I am fond of reading books and articles on positive thinking and happiness. From a couple of years I have been reading these books and remember few great researches that I have read long back. From those articles I have learnt to keep my mind happy and joyful in all the time.
In a research it is said that music has great impact on our mind. The way we feel, the way we think, the mood our mind creates! Music can change everything. It is not just a hobby but also it is a treatment and therapy widely practiced by psychiatrist to cure depressed people. In one case, a 17 year old girl in U.K went in depression and intended to commit suicide for breaking up with her boyfriend. She used to cry and break into tears anytime when she remembered him. When she went through a treatment, her psychiatrist noticed that she always listened to painful songs of lost love and sadness which added more pain instead of healing.
Her parents were advised to take her on a trip with her cousins and friends, who were nearly of her age. Psychiatrist insisted her to listen to pop and rock music which were a kind of flirty and had higher energy levels. So, after visiting beaches and going for hiking, she surprisingly accepted that she has nothing to worry about. Her friends found that she was now laughing and cracking jokes. There is a long life to go and this was a small accident which she didn't care about. She started changing to her original personality. After few days she laughed at herself that she had a heavy crush on a stupid. So, the type of music that she listened earlier, created adverse impact on her psychology. It was alteration of music which changed her mind and thinking.
Researchers say,'You must experiment of yourself, if music is affecting you deeply. Emotional people develop rapid change in their mental status, whereas strong minded people are firm on how they wanted to be. Listen to a very sad song. How you feel? Feel sad only till song ends? Or the song runs into your mind again and again making you feel cry for the entire day? If you are in the first case then you are strong minded. If you stand in the second case, you are an emotional person.'
How many times you change your mood in a day? Are you emotional person or strong minded? Have you tested yourself? Your mental status completely depends on the way you think, the way you feel!
Emotional people must always listen to the fun songs. How do you feel when you think of having a picnic? Obviously, nobody feels like crying. On the contrary, think of a beloved one who has died. Now how do you feel? Painful! It is a scientific therapy of locking your mind into the different emotional zones. The agenda is to bring your mind into comfort zone by the means of music, games, movies and comedy shows.
Strong minded people live in present and vice verse. So the technique is to bring your control on your mental status by various methods and therapies. Decide, how you want your life to be; and then act accordingly. keep the stressful days and work load on it's place and make your mind comfortable and happy everywhere you go.
